Noguchi's sculptural idiom is evident in the form of his Freeform Sofa. This elegant and lovely sofa is reminiscent of two large, flat river stones, yet its elegant organic form imparts a very dynamic and light appearance. Noguchi's light hand emphasizes this effect with a narrow ribbon of cushion and the selection of pale upholstery fabrics in natural colors.
This beautiful piece is officially authorized by the Noguchi estate and now produced by Vitra in Germany. The matching Ottoman is also available. Made from a beech wood frame, 75% wool, 25% Viscose "SOFT" upholstery. Feet are available in natural maple or stained in walnut tone. |
