Although this ottoman is the companion piece for the Free Form Sofa, it has enough elegance of sculptural form to stand on it's own. These lovely pieces are reminiscent of large, flat river stones with graceful organic form. Noguchi's light hand emphasizes this effect with a narrow ribbon of cushion on the sofa and the selection of pale upholstery fabrics in natural colors.
Both of these items are officially authorized by the Noguchi estate and now produced by Vitra in Germany. Made from a beech wood frame, 100% wool upholstery. Feet are available in natural maple or stained in walnut tone. |
